This guide handles the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just right before Thotar provides a taming Rod for your Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar will provide you with a number of 3 taming rods, every one is different and will allow you tame beasts in the next order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and eventually an Armored Scorpid.

After getting finished the taming Element of the Quest chain, you must head to Orgrimmar and speak to Ormak Grimshot while in the Valley of Honor in order to unlock your pet managing capabilities: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive my response Pet; and Beast Training.

Ultimately, remember to go to the Pet Trainer and grab the Pet skills that you must give to your pet.
